Where do I get a barcode number from?

UPC, GTIN-14 and ISBN barcodes adhere to Global Barcode Standards and contain numbers assigned and managed by different standards organizations.

What is the difference between a Low-Res JPG and a Precise EPS?

A jpg file is an image saved in a compressed format and will look pixelated and lose its quality once resized. An eps file is saved in a vector format with transparency and can be resized indefinitely without losing its quality. EPS files are saved as mathematical coordinates rather than pixels and are ideal for digital barcode artwork.ONLY .EPS files should be used for package and coupon design!

What is Bar Width Adjustment (applicable for .eps files)?

To compensate for bar growth/reduction which will occur during the print process, digital barcode graphics files (original artwork) must include a bar width adjustment factor. Typically the bars within a barcode symbol grow when printed due to ink spread so the adjustment is normally a reduction in bar width. Our online application will automatically apply common bar width reductions based on type of symbol and size. However, this number can be manually changed. Please visit https://www.barcode.graphics/tools-bar-width-reduction-chart/ for a illustrated chart of bar width adjustments based on the type of printing processed being used.

If I entered the wrong data, can I receive a refund for my purchase?

We understand that multiple users of the same company log into one account, so refunds may be given for duplicate orders. You can create a new barcode and download the low-resolution file for free, or you can place a new barcode order with the correct data.

Yes, if you have a large quantity of barcode data to create for one order (50 eps files or higher), you can send your order request to support@barcode-us.com. Our team will assess your order to determine if you qualify for the bulk order and will provide the pricing. Large quantity orders are for the precise .eps files only.
